How to Ride a Public Transportation "MyBus "?

When talking about public transportation in Cebu, Jeepney is the well-known transportation.

Numerous of the local people use it since its convenient, but in the Philippines, traffic is very heavy and sometimes it cause to car accidents.

Besides, its hindrance that we can’t be on time in our works/school due to traffic. Now, Cebu has a new transportation which make it more convenient for both locals and tourist.

I decided to visit the largest Oceanarium in the Philippines “ CEBU OCEAN PARK ”, so I take a ride “MyBus” in going there!

Since I ride the public transportation from Cebu Trip Office in Mactan Island, I will introduce the route and how to ride the mybus.

①From the Office to Gaisano Island Mactan Mall

The MyBus route in Mactan Island is in the airport, for us to save the time we go directly to Gaisano Island Mall.

A well-known transportation “jeepney” in the Philippines.

In front of the jeep there is a sign board, so you can check it out where is your destination.

The minimum fare starts at Php 8, the amount varies depending on the location (distance).

②From Gaisano Mactan Island Mall to SM CEBU

At the back of Gaisano Mall, take a van with air conditioning "GT EXPRESS" going to SM CITY CEBU.

The fare is Php 25.

③From SM CITY CEBU to SM Seaside

When you arrive at SM CITY Mall, go to MyBus Terminal then purchase MyBus Ticket in ticketing area, the fare is Php 25 from SM Cebu to SM Seaside.

CEBU OCEAN PARK, is a walking distance from SM Seaside.

In going back to Mactan Island from Ocean Park go to Sm Seaside then purchase a ticket in ticketing area near the entrance.

MyBus Route

MyBus station in Mactan Island is only at the Airport. Just see the route no.3, you may hop on the bus in the MyBus Terminal at the Airport then get off at the Parkmall or SM Cebu!

If you’re not satisfied shopping at Sm Cebu, you can visit SM Seaside by riding MyBus just see the route no.1.

Numerous Shopping Malls in Cebu City than Mactan Island, taking a taxi to City Malls area is convenient but the cost is high due to distance.

No need to problem this because MyBus got you! You can go anywhere in Big Malls in Cebu by riding mybus in a low cost.
