It takes about one and a half hours by bunker boat from Mactan Island to the secret island. It is known as bagonbanua Island, a small manmade island or sandbar that appears only during low tide. This islet is not yet known to all that even some of the locals have not heard of this.As you approach the island, the color of the sea turns turquoise, and eventually the beautiful slender moon shaped white sand appears in the sea surface. (※The travel time depends on the flow of the current and the weather. If the tide is too high you may not be able to go down the sandbar.)

It is important to plan the date in coming to the island is it only appears during low tide.

When you arrive at the island you can take a short dip and eat lunch BBQ.

Time Schedule of the Island Tour

09:00 Pick up at hotel (free transfer within Mactan Island)

09:30 Arrival at the shop

10:00 Departure to island hopping (boats have bath towels and life jackets available for free!)

11:30 Arrival at Bagonbanua Island

While you are in the island, it is your free time. You can swim and take pictures of the sandbar with the cobalt blue sea as the background.

You may also stay on board to observe the amazing view, feel the air and value your time in the island.

Barbecue lunch with a beautiful view of the sea is exceptional! We also offer a fruits like "Mango, Pineapple, Banana" .
