Together with the Consular & Security role, a total of two positions are now open for hiring!
The Consulate-General of Japan in Cebu is currently strengthening its team and broadly recruiting local staff. Following the earlier recruitment for ① Consular & Security staff, we are now pleased to announce the opening of ② Accounting & General Affairs positions.
The work covers a wide range of responsibilities, offering a rewarding and stable work environment. Using Japanese, English, and the local language, you will play an important role as a bridge between Japan and the Philippines.

Qualifications | (1) For applicants who are not Japanese nationals, a valid JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N1 / N2 or N3 certification is required. (3) Non-Filipino applicants Applicants must hold permanent residency in the Philippines and have authorization to work in the country. (6) Applicants must be able to perform tasks using {Microsoft Word、Excel、Outlook} |
Job Responsibilities | Processing payments, remitting social security contributions, handling banking procedures, maintaining building facilities, procuring and managing office supplies, supporting staff transfers and onboarding/offboarding, interpreting and translating, preparing documents and filing, handling phone and email correspondence, and other administrative and accounting support tasks. |

Selection Process

Results Notification:Only those who pass the first round will be notified、
The date, time, and details of the interview will be communicated.
For applicants whose native language is not Japanese, a Japanese language proficiency test may be conducted, as a high level of Japanese is required for the job.
If the Consulate is unable to reach the applicant despite repeated phone calls, or if the applicant does not respond, they may be disqualified.
