offers remarkable value as it is astonishingly good for the price. With a
spacious area comfortably design for families to spend enough time not just for
dining but for loosen hours. Taytayan’s won’t be described as luxury and extravagance
but it’s certainly speaks with quality food. For both invention and execution this
restaurant has an excellence reputation among Cebu’s Foodies.
The restaurant is name after the long bridge (Taytayan in Bisaya).
Taytayan Pinoy Restaurant’s been open for 8 years and clearly ironed out any new- restaurants wrinkles for past years. The owner, Adrian Amistad Godornes preserved focus on big, bold flavour’s specializing seafood and my own personal favourites for that sort thing is the traditional taste reminding you of your Gandma’s recipe. The restaurant is committed in catering services the restaurant and outside venues (for weddings 250/PP) and (for any other occasions 220/PP).
The night view brings extra special atmosphere with the lights on.

Sometimes all this fine dining and foodie community stuff can make you a bit crazy. You lose perspective and start to think everyone is like you; that they’ll travel miles then tolerate appalling service or horrendous décor or cripplingly uncomfortable chairs, just for the sake of the sensational mouthful that makes you go think of good times. I’ll not dwell on the restaurants décor or philosophy and instead dive straight into the food.
The truth is the most sensible – the balance,
non- foodie- freak majority have different priorities. Everyone likes good food
but they don’t need to be astonished or transported to a state of gastronomic
bliss. They just want a reliable restaurant with competent staff and cooked with
good food. They want sensibly priced venue with pleasant atmosphere in which
you enjoy comfort, ambiance, good music and just a good food in short just
creating a good time with no barriers.
During Saturday - Sunday night you'll get the chance to enjoy the live band.
Taytayan Pinoy Restaurant is neither new nor a secret. It is however, still an excellent restaurant that gets better over time. It should be in your list to try in Cebu especially during dinner, it’s something special. What makes them excellent in some other level is the preservation of the texture in dishes that they simply reinvent in the whole local Filipino experience.
