Spending a day in Durano Eco Farm and Spring Resort

Our team has been all over exploring Cebu since 2017 has come, and our first destination in the North of Cebu is in the municipality of Carmen, Cebu: the Durano Eco Park and Spring Resort.

The Durano Eco Park is a private family resort before it was open to public

The drive took about 2 hours from Cebu City, you would see the scenery of the blue clouds and greenery of the fields on your trip.

Our trip took us with a bit of adventure, but if you are going with the public transportation you can ride with bus in the North Bus Terminal and asked to be dropped in Carmen Public Market, then it’s easier to ask the locals for habal-habal (motorcylcle) and they will directly bring you to the resort.

The resort is located in the mountains so expect a little muddy road, by taking public transportation you can ask the driver to collect you for your certain time. We were determined for the visit, we only had a day of the visit to recommend to our travel subscribers, and here we go when we arrive at the resort the entrance fee is 100 PhP and we found the resort is still in progress.

Durano Eco Farm is like features a deep sense of nature, it’s like entering a mini chiefly covered area with trees.

Durano Eco Farm has different multi-level pool

We were easily taken by the breeze of the air with the sounds of the trees and birds all over the place. You would definitely feel off the grid.

From the entrance of the resort it as to walk down in the pool area, about 100 steps so it’s best to pack with backpacks for more comfortable travel and adventure Durano EcoFram has to offer.

The Accommodation…..

Durano Eco Farm have tree houses for those who wants to an over night stay

If you wanted an overnight stay, the resort has its tree houses, prices "₱950 per night, for 2pax", "₱1,500 per night, for 6pax".

For day use, a bamboo cottage with prices ranging from 1000 PhP to 1500 PhP that can accommodate 8 to 40 persons or options are by renting tables for only 300 PhP.

Bring insect repellent as this is a tropical area.
They are pretty crowded during summer and holidays.

If you are looking for an escape away from the city with a little bit of friendly budget Durano Eco Farm is perfect for you. We say the place is not as perfect as the other mountain resort has offered but its an easy access from the city and its affordable.

Business hours are "8am-6pm" as of June 2021.

Cottage Rental	₱1,000 to ₱1,500 per day
Picnic Table Rental（with 4 chairs）	₱300 per day
The Tree House Room Accommodation ※need ₱100 /head entrance	– Good for 2pax – With aircon and CR – ₱950 per night, for 2pax – ₱1,500 per night, for 6pax *If you wish to stay for 6 pax or more, you can bring your own tent. （Please contact in advance.）
